Completed colors for my character Assarex. He’s an alien called a Novakin, which are born when a star dies. The markings only appear when he’s activating his powers. Looks best in full view!

This is a character I haven’t visited in a loooong time.
As a whole, he is known as Mukuro, which is a combination of the names of both beings that make up his form. The top creature is “Muyaka”, he’s normally a docile creature that keeps to himself, works well with people, and doesn’t mind insults or criticism. The bottom creature, “Kuromei”, is a feisty, snappy sort of creature. He’s blind, and isn’t in control of the tail that moves their body as a whole, but he likes to talk trash and start fights. Mu is very strong, but doesn’t like to fight or kill, but has to deal with Kuro’s enemies constantly. They call each other “Mu” and “Kuro”, which is where their collective name comes from.
Their attitudes towards each other are generally good, as they literally are stuck together, they tend to cooperate nicely when it comes to working or defending themselves. Their overall size makes them a naturally formidable foe, the amount of pure muscle in their tail is their main source of protection. The red area on Mu’s chest is their collective weak point, and can be protected by closing the armor on the sides, but when the armor is closed, they cannot breathe, so it can only be done for a short period of time before they become exhausted.
They work at a marketplace selling fresh fish and meat. They aspire to one day open a restaurant.
The species they are is a rare kind of alien called “Nomanis”. Nomanis are immortal unless reduced to ash, because when they are killed, their tail forms a cocoon, and within a few hours, they reemerge from it and undergo a rapid growth. During the rapid growth they will eat anything in sight, including live beings. Once the growth is finished they are back to normal. There is also a myth that if you cut off the tail of a Nomanis, it will grow a clone, though no one has ever witnessed this.
